So there is about 3 more weeks of school for Natalie then summer... I have to get her signed up for a month at Woodroe Woods before we go to the Vineyard. She has mixed emotions about this summer. On the one hand, she gets to experience summer in MV, travel and have a real vacation while on the other hand, she has to say farewell to one of her closest friends. Her friend Francesca is moving to Singapore in the summer. They are supposed to be there for a minimum of 2 years. Maybe longer if the job is right. I am hoping that Natalie and Francesca keep in touch.
Nathan is currently taking his morning nap. He usually takes about 2 naps a day. He turned 10 months yesterday. He is quite the boy. Getting into things. He speed crawls and is practically walking...

Hey it's blog time!
In about 2 months time, we: Blumberg-west will be bi-coastal. That makes us sound so cool. Our "summer get-a-way at the Vineyard..."
Of course Rob will be working like a dog and I've heard that it is hotter than HELL there in the summer, but Natalie is excited and it will be nice to have a change of scenery.
Like his big sister, Nathan will be celebrating his 1st birthday, east coast style.

Now to things closer at hand...
Speaking of Rob working like a dog, I've been having him create a backyard oasis. We ripped out our grass-like substance in the back yard and are replacing it with 24" x24" concrete stepping stones. I think they are about 50 lbs each. Rob swears that they must be 80 lbs. We are going to place grass in between the stepping stones, to soften the edges...
